Personal file keeping

Hi, I'm probably in the wrong post but couldn't think where else to put this. I am having a good clear out of documents but I'm not sure how long I should be keeping everything. I think all tax, bank details, penions, etc are to be all kept but what about utilities, etc?

Would appreciate some advice, many thanks.

    I keep:

    Tax - 6 years
Bank details - 2 years (Now all paperless, so intend to keep all in PDF format)
Credit cards - All paperless, PDF.
Pensions - I keep them all, only get one a year anyway.
    Utilities - 1 year

I keep very little paper these days and just keep a sheet of paper listing all accounts I have along with who they are with.

Payslips are all online at work using something called MySAP
    P60's keep 6 years worth
Tax coding notices which HMRC sometimes send me. Not had one for this year :-( but it's right :-) just kept to ensure I get the right code and then destroy.
All bank statements are online, my credit card is the same.
    Utilities/Mobile/Internet all done online
Employee benefits booklet that my company send me with details of pension, sharesaves and generally saying I'm worth more than my salary given the benefits :-) Just the latest year.
