Cancellation query

Hi,
I will be moving shortly to a shared house (June) where there's already electricity and gas. I have an EON contract that lasts until September. Does anybody know if I will be charged a cancellation fee and if so roughly how much?
Thank you with any help.
Ian
You should not be charged any early cancellation fee as a result of you moving home"Now to trolling as a concept. .... Be really careful in a shared house. Ensure agreements cover usage or have something in place with other occupants and some way to later prove payments and its not uncommon for a main payer to not pass payments on. The supplier considers the name on the bill as liable until chasing liability to prove multiple occupants later, who become liable for the whole sum as its not the suppliers issue to split it X ways.:rotfl: It's better to live 1 year as a tiger than a lifetime as a worm...but then, whoever heard of a wormskin rug!!!:rotfl:0

Hi Ian
Don't worry, you won't be stung with an early cancellation charge for moving home.
Provided we're the supplier, you may also be able to take your current tariff with you to your new home, although the unit prices may be different if the property is in a different area.
Best, though, to pop your details on to one of the comparison sites. This will show all the products available, both with us and the other suppliers.
Just a quick heads up. It would help keep the billing accurate if you're able to let us have meter readings for the day you move.
I know you've probably a thousand and one things to do so, if you make a quick note on the day you move, you can tell us the full details later.
Likewise, if we do supply your new house, please let us have the readings for the day you take over responsibility.
Hope this helps Ian and best of luck with the move.
Malc
