PLEASE help ebay name change

Hiya, I got married in july and have now changed my name, ebay have changed it bar for the checkout page :mad: and 2 stupid buyers this week have sent me cheques in my maiden name :mad: (even tho on my listing it has my correct name to make cheques payable to)

I have emailed ebay about this twice and it STILL hasnt been changed, I dont think the people answering the emails can even speak english, how can I get them to change my name?

It even has saah instead of Sarah and have had a few parcels addressed to that :rotfl:

plus can I still put a cheque in the bank in my maiden name (which has still been spelt wrong)

Is the name not part of the 'address' settings which you can change?

Go to 'My eBay' and addresses is a link under 'My Account' down on the left hand side.

Always worth leaving one building society savings account in your maiden name for exactly this reason. No use to you, but may be to others...

Thanx a huge BUNCH!!! I have tried that before but it wouldnt change I should of tried again when ebay updated shouldnt I lol!

But at least its right now!

I wouldn't describe your buyers as "stupid". It's actually not their fault! They must of received the confirmation email via eBay with your maiden name on. Your married name might be stated in the listing, but lets face it, not everyone reads the description. If sending cheques, I send them to the name on the checkout email.

Well I wouldnt say that because it is "stupid" to buy something off ebay and not read the payment conditions imho lots of little cons on ebay when you DO read them!
