Hello there I will be visiting London on 28th August for 6 days, can anyone recomend any cheapish hotels, we have tried Premier inn and Travelodges but they seem to be fully booked or to over priced. Any advice will be great
Thanks

That's when the Paralympics start - it will attract far fewer crowds than the "main" Olympics but it's going to be busy nonetheless so finding a room at a reasonable price might prove difficult.
Edit: if you can change the dates of your stay, then earlier in August might be cheaper (there's a gap from 15th to 26th August between the Olympics and the Paralympics) otherwise I think it's probably going to be a case of grab what you can.Now free from the incompetence of vodafail0 -
Its my sisiters Graduation on 29th August so no chance in changing dates

You could try 'secret saver' hotels, perhaps, though it might be a non-starter, as it's so far away and likely to be such a busy time. This thread is great at decoding the deals for you!

Ouch, I really think they should have taken the dates into account! It's going to be difficult then. What part of London do you need to travel to for her graduation? Might be worth looking just outside of London and travel in, though in some areas this will be difficult too! Venues in Central London as well as Wimbledon and Wembley will not be used for the Paralympics so that's worth bearing in mind. Now free from the incompetence of vodafail0

I stay in tunehotels or easyhotels when in London. Cheap and cheerful but very clean (but small rooms). Tunes is newer and better decorated and not orange which is a bonus. Also it has very comfortable memory foam beds and power showers, whilst easyhotels has an ensuite you can hardly turn round in. I would recommend tunehotels.
Edited to add: on the dates you are planning to visit, you could get a double room in tune hotels paddington for £300 for 6 nights (or £240 for 6 nights if you're happy to be windowless). I wasn't sure if you meant 6 days meaning 5 nights, or actually will be staying 6 nights. So you may actually be cheaper than that.0 -
thankyou, the graduation is in Euston area I found one hotel

very cheap £185 for 6 night including breakfast, but the rooms dont have showers or toilets just a wash basen. The showers and toilets are along the corridor.
The tune hotels sounds good will have a look at that0 -

I would not stay here my brother in law did and he said it was disgusting and he lives like a typical single man and isn't the most hygenic of people! Also check trip advisor traveller photosWins so far this year: Mum to be bath set, follow me Domino Dog, Vital baby feeding set, Spiderman goody bag, free pack of Kiplings cakes, £15 love to shop voucher, HTC Desire, Olive oil cooking spray, Original Source Strawberry Shower Gel, Garnier skin care hamper, Marc Jacobs fragrance.0 -
