Can ppi be sold to pensioners

just a quick question ... can PPI be sold to pensioners ????

    Why? is it against the law, or does the powers that be think we are incapable of understanding PPI
    make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.

    A pensioner couldn't claim on the insurance (for the most part).

    If a policy that they could not possibly claim on was sold to a pensioner (or anybody else for that matter) it would probably be a missale. (It might not be if the person selling it asked the right questions but was given the wrong answer by the purchaser).

    If, on the other hand, no specific advice was given the it would not be - rather it would be a mispurchase.

    THere was specific ppi for over 60's , this did not cover unemployment, and cost a fortune!
