Every Little Helps!

Options
Hello!

This is my first post here, after AGES trawling Google, i thought i'd ask the Money Saving Experts themselves!

Basically, my husband and I are saving for a house deposit, and we're doing quite a bit already (living off one salary and saving the other) we budget every month, write meal plans and stick to them religously, we pretty much tightened our belts to as much as we can, but.... it's just not enough! We seem to be miles away from our goal, and any extra we can save we want to.

So my question to you is: What are you best money saving tips? We do all the basic things but wondered if any of you had any little gems to help us on our way!

Thanks in Advance ! :)

It would probably help if you went to https://www.makesenseofcards.co.uk and complete a statement of affairs. Then post it on here.

Main tip from me. Buy nothing other than food for meals. No crisps, biscuits, cakes etc. don't buy lunch but prepare it at home. Drink water, not beer!
