County Parking enforcement action pending

I received a letter this morning from County Parking informing me that the notice is now being prepared for County Court and no further notice will be given my County Parking. I will be advised of a court date by Northampton County Court in due course.

I have had some letters from Philips Collection Services.

Help! Is this true, will this really happen? I owe £130. I am worried now. I don't know what to do. I need your advice please.

Fairly standard ever so frightening letter. Lots of companies send you something similar. They may prepare the papers (personally I think they are fibbing) but, somehow, the papers just seem.... to remain in their office.

If they have got as far as this type of megathreat, it won't be long now before they decide you are NOT actually that gullible, and do their customary disappearing act.

P.S. Is it this one by any chance? They give it to everyone, they are such tarts...

Thank you for your invaluable advice. I noted it is the the same letter that has been used before. The alleged offence took place in October 2011. I will follow your advice.

Of course no "offence" has been committed because no law of the land has been broken.
What part of "A whop bop-a-lu a whop bam boo" don't you understand?

Anyway, the good news is that no further notice will be given by County Parking. That means if you ignore this one they will sod off.

    Good riddance, scammers!

Just think of it like this, if they knew they had a decent chance of winning in court, they would have taken you to court by now, but 6/7 months down the line. Your near the end of the letter chain, hold on for a little longer before your file is deleted as a non-payer.

non-payer = not a mug, in PPC parlance.

You could always contact HMCS, and enquire about the court date. I'm sure they'd love to know that someone has been misusing their authority. Again.
