I am using Opera and several sites are stretched with a message about a Facebook plugin. Any idea how to fix this?

But I'm not using Facebook. This is on every site where there is one of those stupid links where you can sign on using FB.

It must have been compatible for the past 3-4 years I have been using Opera. I had the same problem a few weeks ago which righted itself after a few days, but I would like to know what the problem is so that I can fix it rather than put up with it.
