I have a gorgeous sink that should be inset into the top of a cupboard. As I'm about to have the bathroom refitted I'd like to change the cupboard but keep the sink.
I'm looking for something in a medium to darkish wood, oak would be great. Has to be solid wood, not mdf. Anyone seen anything like this in their travels?
Thanks

That's funny, I was just wondering the same thing myself!I was looking on ebay for something suitable when I suddenly thought of another bathroom related question that I need answering... Brain swimming with differant types of everything...
Will be worth it, just need to hold onto that thought!

:hello: Not sure but i think, Wickes do a cupboard like what your after, think the colour is white but you could always change the cupboard doors, hope that helps.0

MFI / Howdens have built in cupbords for bathrooms, if this is any help. They do a 600 vanity unit, 600 and a 200 solid base unit. Also a 800mm base on legs.0

Anything is worth a look!If I can't find something in solid wood it would be nice to at least have wooden doors/top. Not sure I'm going to get something suitable in solid wood unless I do as your first post suggested, or have something built which may be too expensive.

Ideal standard book has vanity units with the worktop handles etc
A lot of places sell Ideal standard Grahams and a few others we bought ours from Plumbase in december
we have white but i know they did others0 -
solid wood and wickes pull the other one. technically most furniture manufacturers do not do solid wood units for bathrooms, especially ideal standard. we have just had delivered today a unit with veneered sides and solid wood doors for a client but on his head be it. it is possible without the costs being too prohibitive but it would need to be looked after0

I do look after things ozskin!Doesn't matter though as I phoned a joiner today who gave me a rough estimate of £700, nearly fell off the chair!!! If I don't find something on ebay I shall take up woodwork myself!!! :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
