Car Registered in O/H name
Hi
We part exchanged a car beginning of Jan from a dealer, after a couple of weeks we received a letter from DVLA letting us know that he was no longer the registered keeper of the px'd car, but a month later we still had not received the log book, we phoned DVLA up who advised us to wait a couple more weeks (think this was due to bit of back log from christmas), in the meantime we got the vehicle taxed using the new keepers detail slip.
I must admit we then just forgot about the log book till about 2 weeks ago, as soon as I remembered we phoned up DVLA, they confirmed that the log book was not in o/h name and told us to download and fill out out some form and send it back with the green slip (new keepers detailed which is kept by the keeper), this was sent back on 2nd of April, as of yesterday when we phoned up DVLA the car was still not in O/H name, I asked if they could put a note on the system (to cover us) that we had phoned but was told they were unable to do this as they only had access to read it,
I did take a photo copy of both the filled out log book and also the new keepers detail slip.
if the slip we just sent back is also lost, does anyone know if the DVLA would accept copies of the copies I have or what we would need to do next

Send the slip recorded delivery?
If you dont have a slip i guess its apply for a logbook and pay their fee for it.
Not sure what you mean by copies of the copies?
Take 3 copies of the slip, In colour if possible,
Email it to them also maybe?Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0
