Newly Single Parent - any advice please

Hi, I am a newly single parent to a four year old. I work 24 hours a week, own a home and am looking for any advice on what i could claim.
I am on low income (less than £9000) a year, but luckily have a very cheap mortgage.
My little one is in school so do not need childcare. OH will pay to assist, but obviously not as much as he did!
I have applied to reduce council tax and have contacted tax credits to see if they can assist, but any advice would be graciously received.
Thank you
