Absolutely spot on! The estate agent may not have been told the outcome of the survey by the purchasers... but then again... anyway, it's worth asking if you can buy their report from them. It depends on the surveyor tbh. It's worth requesting a chat with the nominated surveyor and telling them your worries about structural movement, and asking if they would abort. You would still need to pay for the mortgage valuation though.0
