got a parking ticket from city council for overstaying 6 minutes over the time(permitted for 30 minutes stay- No return in 1 hour).was wondering what are the chances to win if I challenge`if ??

Anyway, your chances of winning any Council PCN in the END are pretty good as most people win who go as far as adjudication. And most people win who get help from pepipoo forum:

What probably won't happen is that your first appeal will be accepted (very rare) so if you do decide to fight this then forget about the 'bribe' of the 'discounted penalty' and approach it on an all or nothing basis.

You may as well join pepipoo and read a few threads and the FAQs, 'how to post pictures', and start your own topic to see what advice they can give you. Only post when you have read some threads, got the hang of what's needed, and can include your pictures (close-up photo or scan of both sides of the PCN).
