direct debit out today, paid money in 9pm...

Oh dear!!!
I had a direct debit coming out of my Natwest account today, and i've just transfered the money in there now (9pm) to cover it, do you think it'l be ok??? I'm sure its normally 3pm cut off- Oh Pooh!!!!
I was on online banking this morning but didnt notice the other account was overdrawn!
Its for a credit card payment, should i ring and make a payment manually or something to stop it from leaving a "black" mark against me?

RBS was 3pm. After that you get the £6 charge. You might get it back the first time if you write and ask. I guess Natwest will be the same.:beer:0

Too late IMO.
The bank will have charged for you either returning the payment or going into (presumably) unauthorised overdraft.0 -
The cut off time to pay in cleared funds into your account is 14.30.
You may want to consider registering for act now act alerts to prevent this happening in future.
