Hen Party goodie Bags

Hi everyone ...
This is my first MSE thread - here goes.
I am organising my sisters hen do and we have managed to keep costs down to £150 per head for two nights.
The only problem is this doesn't leave me with much cash to buy gifts/prizes/goodie bags. So, I really want to do true MSE style goodie bags for 8 people.
Any good ideas and tips on cheap, fun, girlie gifts would be gratefully received. I think it would have to be about 50p - £1 per gift so I could put a nice selection into each bag.
Thanks
xx

Hi katie
Now, lemme get this straight; you wanna do a goodie bag of girlie gifts for 50pence with a max spend of a pound?
Yep, it's a tricky one!0 -
Well...it is MSE so I'm going to try.
I think I will have to keep trawling the Grabbit and Free stuff boards.
I found my first items today which are nice showergels from M&S for 99p each.0 -
Hi
If your looking at make up for gifts i would go on the boots thread you can get a £5 no 7 voucher for spending £5 in boots but that can be easily done with buying every day bits for the family plus at the moment if you bought no 7 suncream £7.50 its BOGOF use no 7 £5 voucher and as the till takes it as £15 you can get a free wrap(make up) so in the end you will pay £2.50 there are other deals as well for spending very little
I hope that helps

you can even top up your phone in boots as well so you get a voucher just spend £5 each time to get a voucher split your shopping if you need more i dont know how much you know about boots and points etc but pop over to the thread you will get lots of ideas and helpful people who will answer any questionsplus there are pictures of the free gifts
ask at the no 7 counter for samples
superdrug does some good deals on travel shampoo, sprays etc
body shop might have samples it doesnt hurt to ask0 -

Personalised wine glass / shot glasses - Buy the wine glasses and some glass paint and have some fun. Maybe even get the hen's to decorate each others glasses on the Friday Night and then you can drink out of them on the Saturday.

I love these! You can get them much cheaper from ebay as postage is only 75p

I had them at my wedding, everyone thought they were great!0 -
Poundland sometimes do big shiny gift bags 3 for £1.
I did this for my best mates hen night and then stuck a big label on the side saying Sophie's hen weekend and put the dates and a very unflattering photo on it!
inside I put:
Socks BOGOF Topshop sale so 50p each
Party poppers
Badges
Balloons
Smellies
I also work in a big store and managed to get loads of things in our £1 sale that we had a while back, handbags, sloggie underwear, travel hair-dryers. I was very lucky with that.
The other girls loved them!0 -
Ive just had my hen party and my chief chick done a wondeful gift bag for everyone,
she bought mini chocie bars for energy
2 paracetamol for the morning after
couple of plasters
packet of chewing gums - incase you pull
a hen party badge with there alter ego name on
party poppers
and those bloey things that make hellishly annoying noise when someone else is using them hahaha
and she done 2 dare cards in each bag that everyone had to do at some point in the night ( she hand made them herself)
and then got some cheap furry hancuffs from the £1 shop and made mine special buy sticking a huge photo of me on it (a dodgy one tho)
ffor prizes she bought really random stuff, a bubble gun, a jelly thong etc etc
she had some great games, a mr and mrs quiz for me with help from my hubby, he answered Q's on us and our life and I had to answer on his behalf and a scavenger hunt for really odd things for two different teams. we also had a dance off after a few drinks which was a complete howl!
if you need any more ideas just ask!

Morrisons recently had 5 of those little bottles of wine for £5. You can mix red and white.0

you could also get the sweet-necklaces - i bought a pack for a girls nght out a while ago and they went down a storm! i think i got the pack in claire's accessories.
OH just back from (another) stag do and they all got a little card (like a business card) with 'rules' on it (e.g. the best man's rule is final!). They also had to produce it whenever demanded and the last one to find it had to do a dare (no, i didn't ask what the dares were, don't really want to know!). that can be done on a page of A4 and printed at work, so is a little thing you can add that is practically free!:happyhear0
