Brighthouse

I have a meeting set up with a PPI expert next week in relation to insurance for products bought via Brighthouse. We have been customer for 8 years and have been forced to pay OSC )Optional service cover) and recently damage liabilty cover.

I accept that they own the goods until I have paid for them but no other catalogue or HP provider does this to the extremes Brighthouse do. You feel harranged into getting the insurance because there is no other way of getting the item at the time (Couldn't get Littlewoods at the time we wentto Brighthouse although have it now.)

If there is no PPI claim here (They aid that they would check all of the agreements) then can I claim that the insurance they have made us pay was missold? If so, who do we contact about this?

Is the PPI expert from a claims co?.

The most you could do with Brighthouse is if you had contents insurance while you were paying them for the damage liability cover then write a letter to them and tell them this, why would you have contents cover and pay extra for similar insurance.

Also with the service cover, if anything you bought broke down could you have paid to get these items repaired? if you could and you feel you were pressured into taking this "optional" cover then tell them this too.
