TPS parking ticket

Hi all,
received a ticket upon return to my car today from Total Parking Solutions stating i owe them £70or£50 if paid within 14days. this is for parking on a local retail park. The park is one of 2 situated next to each other withone having pay and display and the one I used being free for 2 hours to customers. As I was using both parks for approx half hour I did what i think any sane person would do and parked in the free 1 and walked over to the other park(bought weedkiller from Wilkinsons so that's how long I was) then went back to the other park did some shopping there and when got back to car found the notice on windscreen. Having read a lot of threads on this it seems to be the best course of action is to ignore everything that comes to me.
What I'm wondering is the ticket has a box ticked stating "the driver was observed leaving site whilst the vehicle remained parked on the premises" yet the time from and to has been filled in (13mins in total). How would he be able to fill in a leaving time if I hadn't returned to the car. Is there a way they can now use cctv as well as there seem to cameras on the entrance and exits when i looked? Guess what i'm wanting to know is would it get this over and done with quicker if I appealed it or do i just stay quiet?
Thanks for any advice.

It's got sod all to do with them if you left the site, you are a customer you have spent money there, where is the loss to the landowner or retailer ? The answer of course there is none. Keep your receipts to prove you shopped there.
And simply ignore Totally Pathetic Scumbags (TPS) they don't do court, they won't effect your credit rating, and certainly don't appeal as its all in house and they will turn it down.Excel Parking, MET Parking, Combined Parking Solutions, VP Parking Solutions, ANPR PC Ltd, & Roxburghe Debt Collectors. What do they all have in common?
They are all or have been suspended from accessing the DVLA database for gross misconduct!
Do you really need to ask what kind of people run parking companies?0 -
Total Parking Solutions?
Total sh*te more like.
Just totally ignore them. Don't waste time arguing, disputing, or trying to reason.
Just totally ignore them
BTW remove all the references to place date times etc from your post by using "Edit"
Do the above and after a bit they will totally go away.
Simple.
And no they won't have access to the CCTV, this is just a totally made up ticket.0 -
Wonder how many others have been conned by this scam! :mad:Hi Ho Silver Awayyyyyyyyyy0
-
a scam ticket designed to impersonate real authority
this company have no legal or lawful right to fine you.
What you have been given is a flyer left on your windscreen begging money, it should not be treat any differently than a get rich quick earn £75 an hour flyer.
It has NO more validity.
If you Ignore they will send lots of silly letters, then some more pretending to be a debt collector, then a solicitor making silly threats of court action, then they will go away.
Do not fall for the scams intention, which is to draw you out from your castle in to a fight in the open.Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure - MSE ForumTeam0 -

Why remove times etc do you think they would use as evidence!!?
CCTV i was wondering if they'd use as proof of driver, I've seen Tesco camera footage of cars entering stores with faces clear as day.
thanks for quick replies though0 -
And don't forget the "human rights/freedom of movement" argument here. IMHO, that makes that condition unreasonable and legally unenforceable.
I do sympathise with the free car park owner, with people using their car park and then not shopping with them. Erecting a fence between the two car parks might deter some people, but not all. And it would work the other way, deterring people from the other car park getting to their store. Using a PPC isn't the answer. The acquisition of wealth is no longer the driving force in my life.

Just standard advice we give. Some of these clowns infest this forum and try to identify posters from the details. They might just try to press you harder if they think you were worried.
We don't need any details to advise people. Just knowing its a private company is all we need to know!0 -

To be honest i agree with you where car parks are extremely busy however this one has 2 shops occupied and the rest(8)empty so the car park is never more than a 3rd full if that. There is also the fact that the free parking is the reason I went there if i'd had to pay i would have used the out of town park instead which is free.0 -
Do not ignore a private parking ticket - from 2013 onwards things changed in England/Wales. If yours is Parking Eye then they are suing people and so are some other PPCs.
You must appeal and with current forum advice, you will win at popla - we win 100% of appeals in 2014.

OH had one from TPS a few months ago. He had no idea that you dont have to pay so I showed him the threads on here. He still wasnt convinced and every time a letter came he would say "Are you absolutely sure I dont have to pay"? He also discussed it with colleagues at work and not one of them knew that you didnt have to pay...they do now. :rotfl:
Eventually the "fine" escalated to £200!
We had letters from "solicitors" and "debt collectors" and they were all from the same address as the original ticket......hmm, very odd that all these people shared the same business address.
Eventually the letters stopped.0
