Grrrr no fault claim putting quote up by over £100

I had my wing mirror taken off by a lorry a while ago, I was just walking to my car when it happened so witnessed it. I wish I hadn't now. The repair was £240 total with towing etc. I doubt I would have spent that on it if I'd had to fix it myself. I think it would have been under £50. However this being the first time I've had to deal with something like this I thought that as it wasn't my fault I would not have to worry about it.
My insurance is up now and AXA kindly offered to re-insure me for £200 more than last year. I've been looking at sites today and have added my parents to my policy which has brought it down somewhat however the non fault claim that I have(?) to disclose puts up the quote on each site anything from £150 upwards regardless of putting my parents on.
Is there anyway I can not be punished for that idiot lorry drivers mistake?

These days when all car insurance quotes are computer generated there is not much that can be done. Good old common sense cannot be programmed - insurers know that people who have had one accident (even non fault) are more likely to have another - presumably they think that the driver is poor at anticipation - and they can't differentiate between accidents when you are stationary and accidents when moving.0

Why did your car get towed when it just needed a new mirror?
I was a lorry driver years back, Whilst parking the rear corner clipped the light of the car behind, I left my details and the companies details.
I knew a light unit was only £30 or so from euro parts. My gaffer phoned me up and said someone phoned singing my praises.
Although i damaged her car she was surprised that i had left my details.
I said if she was happy to i could fit a new light unit for her, And the £30 would be a lot less than the companies excess.
Fitted it a few days later, Everyone was happy.
I didnt have to fill out tons of forms, Company and the other party didnt need to make claims.
Probably broken tons of rules for not reporting it though. But thats not my problem because i did report it
