I recently went there after reading this and as at 7th Sept 2013 the tuna chunks in brine was £15.60 for 24 tins (or 65p a tin).
It's absolutely fine and has saved me loads. You can get tuna flakes there for 49p but as someone else has said ... they're minging!
The only annoying this for me is that my nearest ALDI is 8 miles away and I don't really buy anything else from there, so it will only be when I happen to be in that part of town.0 -
We always buy a few tins of the tuna chunks in brine as the are delicious, recently we tried the tuna chunks in oil, both taste absolutely fine, the chunks in brine work well in a pasta bake, or even as a topping on HM pizza, and just he other day I used it in a recipe from the OS Boards for tuna sweet corn lasagne. Mmmmmmmm.
We always stock up on ALDI tinned Tuna every time we do a shop, as the value for money is 2nd to none, and the tins are crammed so full of tuna, so much so, that you need to fork it out.
ALDI tinned Tuna 10/10 from us. :TYNAB is my new best friend.0
