            Another thing to think about is it's not just the noise of people walking on wooden floors but carpet also absorbs general noise in a room. so with a wooden floor the general noise will also be increased. We have wood down throughout downstairs in our house as well as a bedroom and the bathroom and the rooms are definitely more "echoey".0
