Embroidery company taken money and no goods received

I have used Popcorn Embroidery in the past without any problems, and I thought is this was sorted. Popcorn Emboridery took an order and money for Badges last November (£47.30 via paypal - not a lot of money but a fortune for a Brownie Pack). This was for Remembrance Badges for my Brownies and 2 Guide Companies in our Town.
They have never been received. I have emailed Popcorn Embroidery through the website, have PMd on a guiders forum and via another email address supplied in the past and have had no replies. Another Guider contacted her thorough Facebook on our behalf to try to remedy the situation. I was informed the badges were in the post.
The goods have still not been received. I sent a recorded letter on 19th of March asking for a refund or the goods - again no reply.
I have called Trading Standards to be informed that my last option is to take her to the small claims to try to recoup my units lost funds (if I do this I will have to fund this from my own pocket as my Brownie unit cannot afford to lose any more money). I was also advised to contact the local paper.
I do not know what else to do but issue a warning.
Unless anyone else has any ideas?????

How did you pay (Credit Card, Debit Card, etc?) and what was the amount ?“That old law about 'an eye for an eye' leaves everybody blind. The time is always right to do the right thing.”0

£47.30 via paypal. I know this is not a vast sum for some people but it is for a Brownie Pack.
I tried a paypal chargeback but of course I've left it too lateFat and proud lol0 -

why don't you contact paypal to get a refund? First of all check on delivery details (days to deliver) on the website. If no delivery within the time then you can contact Trading Standards - but I would also get a cashback from paypal.
I have done this with a cc payment (less than £100) for PetaPorte catflap which did not deliver in stipulated time frame.0 -
Was the Paypal payment backed by a debit or credit card or from funds already in the Paypal account?
You could do a chargeback via your card company if the Paypal payment appears on your credit card.0 -
Thanks for starting a new thread to alert others of the poor service, don't give up, keep on at the supplier and see how it unravels.0

I would certainly do this first.
I know that there is a PayPal limit of 45 days - but does this apply from date of delivery (which in this instance hasn't occured)?skylight wrote:You could do a chargeback via your card company if the Paypal payment appears on your credit card.
If no joy from the above, then I would certainly approach the Card company (if indeed funds taken from a card and not a "balance") and ask them to do a "Chargeback"
Failing that, send them an LBA and follow it up through the small claims court (If you win, you will get your fees back - and there is every chance that you will win as long as you have a trail of every attempt to contact them and sort it amicably)“That old law about 'an eye for an eye' leaves everybody blind.
