No just the outside but I could see how water would have got in through the grill when doing the front and number plate. I'll make sure to avoid the grill next to the radiator from now on. I've had 25 year old cars which have not had this problem but I've seen it plenty on cars not looked after.
Some cars are just vulnerable to it.....
