For anyone in the Essex area then do check out Beeches Nursery. We went last weekend, prices are very reasonable for unusual/rare plants, and the quality is superb.

    Totally agree, brilliant nursery, helpful staff, reasonable prices, some rare stuff - the only "problem" is the amount of plants that we purchase each time we go there - just one of these, ooh, one of those... the car boot gets filled up...

    I've been spending a fortune at perrywoods garden centre :) Will have to have a look at Beeches

  • Now look what you've done! I already spend a fortune at Perrywoods (and then in the craft shop in Tiptree, a short diversion on the way home). Now I find another "must-do" nursery that is bound to be stuffed full of plants I must have. See you there !
