whilst I have over the years sold several properties they were bought done up and sold as as business, I am now getting my home ready to sell so I can relocate closer to my work.
Do I wait till I sell my home before even considering offering on a new home or start looking as soon as my on market - which if I can keep my motivation levels up and finish the neutralising and mass de clutter will be with in next four to five weeks.
I have been looking on line but to date not actually looked at anything as do not wish to be disappointed - just not sure which is the best way round in the current market - last time I did this I found somewhere then sold.

Seeing as it could potentially take 6 months+ to sell your house I would stick to looking online until you either have some offers or you've at least had a lot of interest. I deifnitely wouldn't look before your house is even on the market.0

Just keep your eye on the market but don't view or offer until you have an offer on your own property. Whenever I'm selling, I always tell the ea I only want proceedable viewers as there is just no point anybody making an offer if they still need to find a buyer for their own property.
As sirmosh mentions, it could take ages to sell your house in the current market. Unless you are in an area that is still bouyant, some properties sit on the market for a year or more, especially if sellers are not realistic about the asking price. The bigger the bargain, the better I feel.
I should mention that there's only one of me, don't confuse me with others of the same name.0
