Online Storage

Hi I'm looking for an online storage providor but that has automatic backup functionality.
I've got about 20gb at the moment to backup but that will rise to about 30-40gb.
At this level I don't think I can get anything free so just wondered if anyone knew of any cost effective options. I've looked at Amazon cloud but unless I'm wrong that seems to be a storage option rather then backup. I'm also looking at dropbox as well but it's monthly pricing is a bit steep for me.
Cheers

Google will launch GDrive soon with free 5GB.
have you tried Dropbox?0 -
Take a look at https://Spideroak.com
first 2Gb free
You can set it to backup your files easily (looks a bit complicated but after the first backup you can just forget it.)
Costs around £62 a year upfront for 100Gb (or £6.50 a month)Laters

I use Carbonite.
They do a 15 day free trial and then it's £41-95 for 1 year, £75.95 for two years or £101.95 for three years and there are no limits to how much you can backup.
Again, once it's configured it will automatically back everything up without you having to think about it.
They have also just started web access to your backed up data, so you can access it from anywhere.
And they also offer three months free for each "friend" that I refer and my "friend" gets a free month too - ahem, cough, cough

Amazon Cloud can be used for whatever you like.
With Amazon S3 you pay for the total storage and how much you transfer in or out over the month. If you are using it for backup then you probably won't have much in the way in of regular downloads and should only upload new or changed files.
You can use something like Cloudberry to plug into you Amazon storage and run the backups automatically for you.0
