Pop up for new private message

Hi I really think we need a popup for when we recieve a new private message (PM) as I've had two waiting for over a week as I didnt notice I had any and I'm sure I'm not the only one

What you think?

It's already in your options

"If you are browsing the forums when you receive a new private message, the system can pop-up a notification box informing you of the new message.

Show New Private Message Notification Pop-up"

It started off being the default, I wonder why it was changed.

Personally, I swited it off in my options ages ago. If I try opening several tabs at once in Firefox, I can get popups all over the place and it's quite annoying

I think it was changed the past couple of days with all the tweaking going on as I just had to tick the boxes to get back the pop up and the email notification.

I have never been able to get it working on here for some reason.

Hi from a newbie - have always read chat forums but never posted or sent PM. Still trying to get my head around it all but decided to take plunge and test it out. Was reading your thread and as you had asked for someone to send you a message thought I would practice on you. Hope you don't mind!!
