Wanting to set up a joint account that offers travel and phone insurance.

Will be paying in £1000 minimum per month.

I get travel insurance with Nationwide FlexAccount. I am not sure of details though Came in useful when I got invited to a conference last minute last year.

Halifax are hit and miss. I've just opened a Halifax Reward account this month - and they've been fine so far. I reckon they are neither the best nor the worse, and for the rewards that still makes them worth it.
