Ebay Turbo Lister

Help please!
I have four items in my 'waiting to upload' folder but when I click on 'upload all' I get a message saying 'Turbo lister is unable to connect to the internet. Check your connection and try again'.
I am connected (otherwise I couldn't be posting this could I?) so how do I get it to work? Sorry if I've done something really stupid and obvious, this is only the second time I've listed this way so I'm not too sure of myself.

Hi I have had exactly this problem, particularly recently when they have done a lot of updates. I am on broadband so was definitely connected - i had my ebay site live at the same time:mad:
I found that by closing turbo lister, re-opening and clicking through a few of the tips before closing that window, then going to upload and trying to calculate fees it seemed to clear. once it calculated fees i pressed "upload" and all was OK!:j

IF you are using Turbo Lister 2 then definately check out the ebay forums/community section. It's been having problems since it started, which is the reason why I'm hesitating about installing it, TL1 still works fine, but only till April! Geez.Thank you to everyone who posts comps! :A
I would like to be lucky,healthy & happy in 2020! :T0 -
I recently had this when I found a recent update caused the Sygate firewall to block it. I opened the firewall and then turbolister which was then allowed. Is this any help?I'd rather be an Optimist and be proved wrong than a Pessimist and be proved right.0

Well I've tried the bits I understand(!) in the posts and on the forums suggested, but still it's telling me it's not connected.
I emailed TL help and they are asking me to send the TL log to them which they say is in the TL directory. They've given me instructions on how to send it, but please can anyone tell me how to find it? There doesn't appear to be anything about a directory on any of the TL buttons.
Sorry to be such a complete dunce - I liken it to driving a car in that I can do that very well while everything is working but wouldn't know what to do if anything went wrong.
So your help would be very much appreciated!Oh dear, here we go again.0 -

I think they're talking about a folder on your PC, rather than something in the TL program itself.
In my My Documents folder, there are 2 TL folders, one called Turbo Lister and the other called Turbo Lister Backup - I suspect that's what they're after.

OK, I've found those. The TL folder is completely empty, and the backup one contains 2 files that I can't open, just getting a window with a message that says Windows cannot open this file.
Should I persevere with TL help or just uninstall it all and start again? Or will the same problem still be there if I do?
God I hate computers!Oh dear, here we go again.0 -
Ooh, something really weird has just happened.
I was asking my son how to find the TL log and he opened TL to see if he could help and it worked first time. Don't ask me why, I'm just happy it did.
Thanks for all your help - hope I won't need to come back to it again!Oh dear, here we go again.0
