bluetooth headphones

Are all bluetooth headphones basically the same?
I have a Motorola HT820 headphone that I use with a Motorola DC800 transmitter.
The headphone batteries are on the way out and according to Motorola cannot be replaced, plus the foam around the speakers is getting worn as well, so I am thinking of getting a new pair.
Are all bluetooth headphones compatible or do I need to get Motorola headphones?

bluetooth is a standard so it should work on other headsets but I guess they can make them awkwardly. As long it has a pairing code or a way to configure the pairing code then you "should" be good to go. If you have another device like a PC with bluetooth you could try pairing it just to see what happens. It's likely you would be able to stream it through your PC speakers as a free test.0
