The mods do a sterling job of policing this board, perhaps it is was because of the OP

While the DNS and meta data is useful, this is hardly a grabbit post?!Seth.0 -

A useful browser toolbar is available from
http://toolbar.netcraft.com/
the toolbar
* Traps suspicious URLs containing characters which have no common purpose other than to deceive.
* Enforces display of browser navigational controls (toolbar & address bar) in all windows, to defend against pop up windows which attempt to hide the navigational controls.
* Clearly displays sites' hosting location, including country, helping you to evaluate fraudulent urls (e.g. the real citibank.com or barclays.co.uk sites are unlikely to be hosted in the former Soviet Union).0 -
The best site for finding whois information and loads of other tools is:
http://dnsstuff.com
Its very simple layout, not ads, simply excellent. If you're feeling down, you must be holding a duck.0 -

Anyone know of a service for buying already registered .co.uk domains?
I know sites like afternic will allow you to make offers for .com domains.. but afternic says it can't do .co.uk domains.stay lucky!
