Just because resellers sell it to you doesn't mean they should. From amazon's site after they got told off by MS:

Hmmmm, i can see your point, and since I built the pc in the first place, I provide the support, much more favourable than if i bought the pc from someone else ( i wont fob myself off with excuses not to repair etc etc....) and its 24 hour support as well, with no premium rate number to call, the original op can build his own pc and use the OEM software.....

Well as someone who's using an OEM OS that I bought myself I was thinking the exact same thing. I'll give myself first rate support, I'll even give myself my own personal mobile number to deal with pc problems at any time, unlimited warranty etc etc. :beer:
