I had the misfortune to order some bedlinen from this 'Company' on Feb 23rd this year. The item was listed on the website as being 'in-stock' so paid by Paypal (£35.61) and waited. Nothing arrived, so sent an enquiry email on 2nd March......No reply! On 13th March , I sent another email asking what was happening, and stating that if no reply was received within 7 days, I'd pass the matter to Trading Standards. I got a reply in poor grammar, the following day, saying that UK Mail (the courier) had 'lost' 340 parcels and they were only just finding them. I was offered an unacceptable alternative, but I suggested the next size down of the item I'd originally ordered (In-stock, according to website), and, to date, no item, no communication. On 22nd March, I'd had enough, and requested a refund, and yes, you've guessed it, No reply! I just tried Paypals 'resolution centre' only to be told it's outside the 45 days limit,- about as useful as a chocolate fireguard! My Paypal account is 'fed' by my credit card, but of course, section 75 doesn't apply, as the transaction is under £100, so I'm presently feeling roundly 'stuffed'! To sum up, I'd suggest that anyone looking for bedlinen should look elsewhere than this 'Company', as it seems they have no communications or customer service skills, and it would appear, no stock either!
AVOID!

As a tip for the future, I'd never buy from a company that only accepted paypal, if the card industry won't trust them, then neither should you. Note that section 75 doesn't apply to paypal transactions either, the transaction guaranteed by s75 is your payment to paypal, not the the ultimate vendor.

I can't get the website to load up. I wonder if they have gone under?

I'm not sure if this is the company I ordered from.
Wow, I got 3 *, when did that happen :j:T:p
It is not illegal to open another persons mail unless you intend to commit fraud - this is frequently incorrectly posted:)
    I live in my head - I find it's safer there:p

Well, a few days after I posted this warning, I had an email from a lady who I presume is the owner of this Company. Apparently she had noticed my attempt to get a refund from Paypal, had looked into the situation, and informed me that she had refunded my payment "due to not having the item in stock or having despatched it"!!! It took several days before the refund reached my credit card via Paypal, which is great, BUT it does raise a few other issues. Firstly, if the item was not in stock, then why did the website list the item as "In Stock"? I'm aware that a number of Companies do this, but it's patently dishonest. Secondly, the eventual respondant who told me that parcels had been 'lost' by the courier was also being dishonest since my order had never been despatched. If this lady does indeed own this Company, then she evidently has little part in the day-to-day running of it, since she appears to have no idea of how her staff are treating customers. Ignoring information requests for non-arrival of ordered items is not good customer relations in my book. Many years ago, as an apprentice, I recall my employer telling me "It takes years to build a business, and five minutes to lose it". This lady would do well to remember that! My advice remains as before.........AVOID!
