I was in a similar situation with our Best Man's wife. When they got married (a few years ago, OH and I had been together for about 3 years, but weren't living together) OH was best man and I wasn;t invited at all, even to the evening.

But hubby said I had to invite her to the wedding. I agreed (had no choice really) but was cross about it and said she wasn't to sit in the front row and I wasn't going to talk to her, and put her on a table at the back.

She ended up sitting in the front row in the church, but I didn't notice. She wore a dress the same colour as the bridesmaids, and almost the same style. She knew what colour they were wearing as best man had told her about the cravats....

If someone had told me that was going to happen before I would have been fuming, sure it was going to ruin my day etc, but actually it made no difference at all. And people were saying things like "Isn't she sad, trying to look like a bridesmaid!"

I was convinced that people would fall out (lots of split families) but absolutely no-one did. They were all well behaved!!!

At the end of the day, nothing will ruin your wedding day, it will be perfect! :)

I'm hoping so. I ended up telling my mum that I don't want him there and she just got annoyed and was like 'ugh just do whatever'. I don't want him there at all. But I cannot be bothered with the arguments :/ My sister will sit in a mood all day not matter what anyway, its just what shes like...
