hi all looking for some help please!
we are looking at going to chessington for the weekend of 16th/17th june.
we have looked at some of the package deals on offer but wondered if it may work out cheaper booking tickets online seperately, and then finding somewhere to stay!
we need somewhere with an english breakfast included, and childrens facilities/child friendly is a must!
we have looked at travelodge/premier inn already
there is a small group of us going and we need 4 rooms in total
my room being 2 adults and 2 children (3 and 5)
dinner included is not important, but breakfast is!
anyone stayed anywhere nicenear by?

Have you tried the Chessington Holidays website itself? They have 7.6% cashback through Quidco. We went to the Holiday Inn onsite last year and it was lovely - great view of the animals in the reserve and pretty good value with 2 day tickets and breakfast included for just over £200 for 5 of us, we did however go very early in the season during the Easter holidays.0

I know you said you looked at the The Premier Inn already but wonder if the sale has put on more sale rate rooms as not bad rates for your dates as Chessington is £48 for Sat 16 June and £29 for the Sunday on the saver sale rates. Buffet breakfast, would be extra but the kids will eat free.
Just checked and the Travelodge at Chessington has family rooms for £32.50 for Sat 16 June and £19 for the Sunday. Parking extra at £5 between 6pm and 8am. Buffet breakfast is extra but again kids eat the breakfast free.
In our experience of both TL and PI the breakfasts are good in that there is a help yourself, eat as much as you want, choice of hot food such as bacon, sausages, eggs, beans, mushrooms. Toast with spreads, muffins, yoghurts, cereals, tea, coffee and juices.
In my opinion when visiting Chessington you really just need somewhere clean and basic to sleep in as you will be out all day in the park I would imagine, then just need somewhere nearby to have a family meal together and then probably with your children being so young it will be time for bed.
You would probably be better booking on line using the raring to go voucher as it would cost £53.50 for 2 adults and one child (3 year old unless tall should go for free). Usually once in the park they do bounce back next day tickets a lot cheaper (to check ring up customer services to check, they still do this).
