I had a facebook account, forgot password, got muddled, so opened another account with another email address, stupidly. Now I can't access my original account with all my contacts, I have tried every which way.

My friends say it is still there with all my info on it but I cannot access it, Is it possible or am I wasting my time.

Any advice welcome.

Thank you, but I tried all this, it just won't let me in. I'm furious with meself!

how won't it let you in?

if you put in the email address of your first account it should send a password reset email to that email address, when you check your email be sure to check your spam folder as the email may end up there.

It sends the password code but it won't work with that email, I think because I have made a new account with a new email, they take that as the main one.

When I put in the old email it asks if it's me? I say ok then try to reset or go through the "forgotten" password rigmarole but no luck.

I think I might have cracked it, I have had to set up another email account, but not another FB account. They lock the account for 24 hours so I will know after that if I'm back in:j hopes!
