Hi, I need some pointers about who or what is the best company to use to sell shares online please? got a shares certificate that I would like to sell but not a clue who to use and what fee's are acceptable and not a rip off? don't want a share dealing account as this is not a regular thing that I do.
Thanks

It may be best for you to sell them through the companies share registrar.
What is the name of the company that you hold these shares in?Never let the perfume of the premium overpower the odour of the risk0 -

Depending on how many shares you hold, you have a few options available to you so work out which will be easier/cheaper for you to go with.
There is a free phone number below if you need to speak to Capita about selling your shares.
Selling your shares by post:Once your shares are sold, you will be sent a cheque, a full set of terms and conditions for your records, a copy of your completed form and a sale advice detailing the share price obtained. You will be charged 10p per share (maximum £10) when selling 1-150 shares or £15 flat fee when selling 151 shares or more which will be deducted from the sale proceeds.
If you need assistance or would like to be sent a printed version of the documents, please phone the helpline on 0800 022 3374 (Lines are open Monday-Friday 8am-4.30pm. From outside the UK call +44 2033672693).
