    In case the clip sparks. If it sparks near a battery that is gassing it can explode.

    I'm after a battery charger, 12v which will cover all engine sizes. Be it a 125cc motorbike up to a 4.0Ltr Toyota pickup thing.

    Ideally it would have a "flat battery" mode where i can charge a fully dead battery unlike some of them sold by halfords etc which require some.

    Ideally below £40 too.?
    you want to charge a ead battery? your better off buying a new battery, lead acid cells commit suicide when the volts drop below a certain level.

    I have had 3 Halfords own make battery chargers for the last 4 years the 1st was recalled and replaced with a more expensive one that lasted just over one year the last one also has lasted about one year before going completely dead, I have ordered a CTEK MXS 3.8 from amazon heres hoping its better than my previous Halfords rubbish.
