My wife signs for JSA (income based), also CHB and CTC.
Before i was signing too, attended steps2work, but after numerous screwups by the J&B office i just quit going. Letters on wrong dates (late), FOR wrong dates constantly, for which I needed to explain MYSELF...etc.etc.etc...
Since i stopped signing, nothing changed in terms of money received.
Today, about a year later since my last official visit, i get a call. They want me back and sending me a new appointment.
Have the laws changed that requires both parents signing ? Will this impact my income somehow (it didn't for a year) ???
Of course, i'll cross the bridge when i reach it, but i'd like to as much as i can before i go visit... Expecting a letter tomorrow...
All this is happening in Northern Ireland. Not all UK laws may be applicable here...
