Oatabix

Options
Bought some oatabix but noboby likes them.
I hate waste so has anyone got any ideas as what i can use them for. Please.

    Sorry, I've no ideas but I'm also waiting to see if anyones tried it in a recipe........... it really is disgusting stuff:D

    How about crushed and mixed with melted chocolate to make nests for mini eggs. I do have to admit though I love Oatibix!

    I have used crushed up weetabix to thicken my slow cooker casseroles right at the end of the cooking time ..I have not tried oatabix (and dont think I will after reading this!!) ,...but you may be able to use them ike this.....about 1/2 a weetabix thickens a stew etc nicely and you cannot tast it at all !
    I have had brain surgery - sorry if I am a little confused sometimes ;)

    I use oat meal or oat bran to thicken bolognaise and chilli sauces so maybe oatibix will work too.
