Can i ring the tax credits to renew now ?

Hi members , just a quick question , do i have to wait until we get the renewal pack to renew our tax credits ?

My wife and i know what our 2011/12 gross earnings are now, we had a major change in income due to job loss and returning to work again and after all the instability of the last tax year we have been settled in work and know what our earnings were for 2011/12.

I usually ring to renew but didnt know if i could ring them today now the 2011/12 tax year is over or do i have to wait for the renewal pack before i can ring them ?
