    Iherb.com

I also have a $10 off code. PM me if you want to use it.

Good prices on stock and delivery. Reviews from people who are really into this stuff (vitamin purity, absorbability, verifying lab claims, etc). Just watch out for the customs charges.
  • I tend to just buy them from the supermarket. Do you think that's wise?

I keep saying I;m going to buy the more expensive brands because I think I read somewhere that the cheap brands aren't good for you? Don't know why - inferior ingredients perhaps? Or additives? Particularly the non-standard ones like Black Kohosh, Ginseng etc.

    Opinions please!

I would recommend Health Monthly, cannot post a link, but its uk - the Swanson brand of supplements especially, are really quality and reasonably priced for what they are.

I second the suggestion for Iherb.com, it beats all UK shops on price.. I must have placed over 20 orders with them so far and never had a single problem, very pleased. My last one took about a week to arrive. They sell sooo many things, it becomes a bit addictive :o

How long have other orders took ?

I'm disappointed so far as delivery taking too long. Order was despatched on 31/08 and I'm still waiting, and of course no way of tracking. Maybe it is my local mail delivery at fault.

Think I'll stick to local shops in future.

I'm having the same problem with iHerb. I'm waiting since early August and still no delivery. I've contacted customer service but they are useless. All the say is "delivery times will vary". I've read many recent reports about non delivery of orders so I'd be careful about purchasing at iherb.

Hi, I buy from iherb too. My last order did take a little longer than usual and foolishly and without realising I went over the limit. I had to pay £11.03 in Customs charges.
  • My otherhalf could live on supplements I think - he has CP so docs recommend certain ones (multivits/vit c/fish oils etc) depending on who he sees (consultant or gp) and then he's also an elite athlete so has sports stuff/stuff to support that. He swears by Holland and Barrett (with a loyalty card) and believe it or not...ASDA haha

Did you see the Holland & Barrett store on Watchdog last night, the packets of vitamins were half eaten by rats and mice, there was droppings all over the store.
