Sealant on ceramic hob

Had a new ceramic hob fitted recentlyand there is a slight line of the silicone sealant around the edge and a "smudge" line on the worktop where it was wiped off.
Can anyone recommend anything that will get rid of it? Would Turps do it?

if your hob is a sits on the worktop you shouldnt need any sealant at all.
Maybe lift in from within the unit or drawer and can use a window scraper to get off0 -
Builder fitted Hob and siliconed underneath edge but I can see the edge of it. Will try the white vinegar.0
