Going to Stockport / advice needed
I am looking for some advice from people who live in Stockport. I've got to go to the meeting which is going to be held at Baker street, Stockport (where the soc. services are). Apparently there is a public car park at the offices which can be overused and busy, so I am thinking about going to Stockport by train. The question is: how far is to walk from Stockport train station to Baker street? Is it safe to walk from train station to Baker street in the middle of the day? Had a look at the google earth maps but could not see if there are any pedestrian paths. I never been to Stockport before so have no idea... Thanks
