Hiya, looking for any info about any frugal alternative to purchasing filters for our Marina i25 pump/filter thingy. Was wondering if anyone else has tried purchasing the filter material and replacing that rather than purchasing new cartridges for it? Thanks in advance for any help.

Just cleaned the filter and realised that i am going to have to bite the bullet and purchase the replacement filters. I know, i am just a cheapskate for wanting to find a frugal alternative!Grocery Challenge for October: £135/£200

I find ebay is the cheapest source for the filters. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0

Having removed the filter cartridge i now realise that they have been designed in such a way as they have to be replaced with more or less, the exact make and model of filter. I did manage to find some fairly reasonably priced filters on fleabay, but in true tightwad mode, i'm still a bit narked i can't replace them more frugally!Grocery Challenge for October: £135/£200
