watch out for Energy Extra 50

I have just had a very interesting discussion with a lovely lady from British Gas.
I was researching my new tariff when she asked me if i wanted to keep Energy Extra 50 ?
I was told this is a service plan for my boiler but as my boiler was only installed last year with a 5 year warranty I told her I didnt need it to which she told me I had been paying for it since may 2011. She told me that some agents had been adding this without customer knowledge:eek: and she would have it refunded:j.
A warning check your bill online its in a dropdown showing charges. and check the value for they can't count she told me i had paid £18 when i checked it was £27.62 now we know where they make their profits.
