Courier for dining table?

I'm currently selling a dining table on ebay. It's round and measures 121cm across.
Can anyone suggest a cheap courier that deals with this type of thing - as I'd like to offer a "delivery price", not just a "collect only" price.
One company said it had to be packed flat!! which it doesn't do as it's a solid piece. The best quote I've got so far is £65 +VAT which seems pricey, and it's unlikely that anyone will pay that.

Any suggestions anyone? There must be a courier out there that deals with furniture that isn't too expensive.0

if the table doesnt flat pack then that price is about right.
a complete fixed table takes up a lot of room in a van.
where to and from? miles?Get some gorm.0 -
I don't know where too yet as no one has bid, and it doesn't flat pack - if it did I would store it in the attic until we got a bigger house!!ormus wrote:if the table doesnt flat pack then that price is about right.

if it doesnt fold down or dismantle I doubt you will find many couriers that will take it....
you could try a local small removal company or "a man with a van"...but depending on how far its going, wont be cheap.0
