Has anyone heared or had experience with this company please?

A friend of ours works for them selling their products and we are going to see them tomorrow as they want to see if they can help lower ours. Im not convinced its a goos idea as I hadnt heared of them before! I am actualy also happy with who I am with although am considering checking around soon to see if its worth ditching and switching at the moment.

Any advice please?

To be fair to your 'friend' he is one of around 30,000 UW salesmen and many haven't a clue what they are selling!

Thanks but it is a shame thats the only place it can be discussed as I was looking for experience and advice not general chit chat and chaos - not much help to me at the moment

Thanks for the bit of advice, thats what I was afraid of to be honest. I may let her do her sales pitch and say I will think about it but no thanks. She has been very persistently pushy to get me to talk to her even a blunt but polite no didnt work so this is the simplest way to get them off my back!!

Interesting. Cardew (rightly) states they can only be discussed in the dedicated thread but then goes onto start a discussion in this thread, lol. I use them for phone/broadband and mobile SIM only, combine that with the cash back card and get an unbeatable deal. Their fuel is very competitive if you are a low user but their electricity prices in particular let them down further up the consumption scale (Gas prices generally OK). Imo their customer service is superb.

PS They can only be discussed in the dedicated thread Cardew has linked to, lol.

Just go armed with a sheet with your annual consumption in kWh, and having used a comparison website to give the prices of the various tariffs available.

I wasnt wanting to discuss the company in detail I was asking other users of its services their opinions of it. Sorry if this isnt the correct netiquette procedure! Thanks for the help.

I'm neutral on this, I don't get involved as I'm on the board to try and help with service/technical problems, not sales.

But...I would say, I think you've answered your own question. You are happy and someone you call a friend is trying hard to make a commission of you and won't stop when politely asked...which is more akin to doorstep salesmen who you don't know.

Thanks for that, stupidly I didnt see that so obviously until you pointed it out, possibly because it is a #friend'. I have now told them I am no longer interested at the moment in discussing UW with them and should I decide to ditch and switch in the future I will include them when asking around for quotes. I hope this time they clearly get the message !
