There are always Taxis outside the airport and he may be able to find someone to share with. You could also try Resorthoppa.com. Hope he has a great time.yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, today is a gift thats why its called the present

We had a taxi from outside the Airport to Puerto Rico a year or two ago, It was just over 50 Euros on the meter.
I would also recommend Resorthoppa, they are reasonably priced and we have used them often in Gran Canaria and other places with no problems at all.

How many are going ? If 3 or 4 a cab maybe the best . If 1 or 2 hop on a bus one goes to Puerto Rico or change at Maspalomas then hop on another. If he is going any further (Amadores or Playa De Cura/mogan ) needs to change again. Bus will be about 15 euros each and about a hour+ but a nice journey through "the moon" hard as nails on the internet . wimp in the real world :cool:0

I own a Timeshare in Puerto Rico and when we went there in June 2011 we booked a transfer through the resort, they used a Company called Gran Canaria Transport, cost was 90 euros return. The collection and return was excellent in a very nice luxury car. It certainly beat the taxi hands down, the Website link is here:

I did the journey twice last year by bus, cost about 12€ each way as opposed to a €50 taxi journey each way, the buses are comfy and clean and plenty of room under the bus to store luggage, and the drivers are usually very helpful.Started 30/08/2011Biggest Wins: GHD's, 5* Trip to London, VIP Trip to Isle of MTV Festival in Malta.
Thanks so much to all who post

So lango its back to you how many are going more than 3 cab less than 3 bus if they are physically fit to carry bags off & on. If 3 depends what they want to do as prices are about the same. Anyway hope your dada has a good break we stayed at Riviara Marina Hotel in Playa del Cura .Great location right on the beach .Booked with Jet2:cool: hard as nails on the internet . wimp in the real world :cool:0

Have done bus, taxi & operator coach and would say the air con taxi was the best but 60 euros, bus about 12 euros and a very pleasant journey, operator coach is a nightmare but thrown in so cant really complain. Unless I had a really cheap taxi I would go bus again.0
