Hi
I've just opened a XE trade account and i want to pay money to a German retailer's bank account but the transfer must include my order number in the payment reference. On XE there is no reference field for EFT transfers (free) but there is one included for wire transfers (£12.50). So does that mean there's absolutely no way to send money to a German bank free of charge? My bank Halifax only charge £7.50 for overseas online transfers (discounted rate) so may have to go for this. I'm transferring only £120 or so, the poor exchange rate halifax use will cost less than £5 (12.50-7.50). Unfortunately the retailer no longer accepts paypal which is how used to pay previously - via Halifax clarity card. Any suggestions?
Cheers
