  • Using the fitting shown, you need to fit that first with the longer section joining the copper in the wall. With that fitted you can then see what needs to be done next, looking at the original, you could cut an access hole in the plastic using a hole cutter approx. 2" to allow the shower case to fit over and slot on to the inlet pipe and then fit.This is of course easier said than done. Might pay to get a plumber in and get a quick quote there and then. He could use a different fitting as well.
